South East Cornerstone Public School Division is seeking the position of a temporary Speech and Language Pathologist. Reporting to the Coordinator of Learning Supports this position will be responsible for providing services for Oxbow Prairie Horizons, Hillcrest and Spruce Ridge Schools.

Term

This position is a temporary full-time position with duties commencing August 25, 2026. End Date: June 30, 2027.

Duties

• Determine the assessment procedure which will provide the appropriate diagnosis of a communication disorder, subsequently, participate in the development of a suitable program plan
• Conduct screening and assessment procedures
• Provide early identification and intervention for children with communication difficulties
• Interpret assessments of speech and language
• Make decisions regarding changes in student status, discharge, therapy, rest and review
