The Opportunity
Lesley University is seeking a Temporary Area Coordinator. The Temporary Area Coordinator will report to the Director of Residence Life and primarily serve as a duty, standby with restrictions, staff member until the new Area Coordinator is hired. The person will be required to live on campus during their duty shifts, and will work closely with the Associate Dean/Director, Public Safety and Community Advisors in responding to issues that arise in our residence halls. This includes working with Community Advisors as well. The Temporary Area Coordinator is responsible for covering one 3-day weekend duty shift per month, covering one 1 day weekend shift per month, covering 7 weekday duty shifts per month in conjunction with the other Area Coordinators. Other duties include managing roommates conflicts, writing incident reports, and elevating any necessary issues to the Associate Dean and Director.
