Responsible for the observation of cardiac / hemodynamic monitors and patient activity on a video monitor if applicable. Reports any unusual activity to nurse or charge nurse. Documents according to unit policy.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Coursework/Training: Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or monitor technician course or equivalent education/experience.
+ Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 1 year Acute Care monitor technician experience.
