Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking a Telecare Response Officer to work with a Local Authority on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working on a rota basis including evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Overview:
The successful candidate will deliver emergency response and support to vulnerable clients within their own homes and supported housing schemes. The role will involve responding to emergency calls, providing immediate assistance including first aid where required, and ensuring the safety, wellbeing and independence of service users through the use of telecare and supporting technology.

Main Duties:

* Respond to emergency calls, carrying out dynamic risk assessments and providing appropriate emergency assistance including first aid where required

* Attend client homes to deal with issues including equipment failures, alarms, lock outs and welfare concerns
