Accounting Technician

Opportunity

The accounting technician supports the team in processing transactions, analyzing variances, helping to prepare year-end files, and carrying out accounting activities across the various management companies.

Responsibilities

• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Prepare various financial and accounting reports.
• Reconcile vendor statements of account.
• Process payments by cheque and by credit and debit cards.
• Calculate and prepare cheques for utility bills, taxes and other payments.
• Issue cheques and electronic fund transfers (EFTs).
• Document and prepare invoices and purchase orders.
