Job Description:
  • The Technician IWSS is an essential team member of our Hospital Services team.
  • The TM will be responsible for collecting and receiving waste from hospital personnel. Waste should be inspected for acceptance according to Stericycle waste protocols.
  • This team member will partner closely with their supervisor to ensure that all waste remains in compliance.
    • Key Job Activities:
  • Separates waste streams into appropriate categories for treatment or disposal
  • Solid waste
  • RMW
  • Recycling
  • Hazardous
  • Confidential
  • Operates compactors and/or shredders as required
  • Unload waste from incoming vehicles. Separates non-autoclavable waste to be incinerated
