Overview

Komatsu New Zealand is a global leader in heavy equipment, technology, and customer support. As a Field Service Technician based in Whangarei, you will provide maintenance, diagnostics and repair services on Komatsu equipment across customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and fault finding on hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Test, adjust and monitor machine operating systems using technical literature and specialised tooling.
• Work autonomously in the field across the Northland region.
• Manage priorities, complete accurate service documentation and reports.

Qualifications

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or overseas equivalent).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capability across heavy mobile equipment.
