Overview

To carry out effective and efficient repair and maintenance of customer vehicles following the approved manufacturers repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collect job orders and necessary materials, tools and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance on customers’ vehicles according to the manufacturers repair techniques.
• Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and effective utilization of time allocated for repairs. Report to the Team Leader any delays due to parts unavailability or other reasons.
• Ensure all additional repairs are authorized; parts are booked to the repair order. In the case of warranty repair or parts exchange programs, return removed parts to the parts department in the same carton to facilitate audit processes and obtain necessary credit if applicable. For retail jobs, keep the old parts inside the vehicle except for batteries and parts that may stain the interior trim or carpet.
