Driven and experienced Technical Sales Specialist required for our global client, a leading manufacturer of matrix matched materials catering to the mining and exploration industries.  The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical sales support to customers, actively seeking out new business and managing key customer accounts. A BSc with major in Chemistry and/or Geology is required combined with 3 to 5 years' experience in a technical sales role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales:

• Ensure SOP compliance.


• Provide technical (geological) sales support to customers.


• Attend to customer requests promptly.


• Develop and maintain a sound and extensive customer base.


• Coordinate packaging and shipping.


• Follow-up on sales leads.


• Prepare sales documents.


• Meet monthly sales targets.


• Sales forecasting.
