Responsibilities

Own the full CEX technology stack end-to-end, design and oversee an order book and high-performance matching engine, trade execution, clearing, and settlement systems. Lead custody and wallet architecture including integrations with Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, or equivalent. Architect real-time trading systems using WebSockets, low-latency fault-tolerant designs. Define and manage trading pairs listing processes and product rollouts. Implement and oversee market surveillance and manipulation detection tools using Solidus Labs, Chainalysis, or equivalent. Author and review technical sections of the VARA Exchange License application. Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Product, and Operations teams. Build and lead the engineering organization, setting standards for security, scalability, and resilience.
