Billing – Senior Tech Lead

5.2.1 Role Summary

The Senior Technical Lead – Billing is accountable for the end-to-end technical leadership, architecture, and operational integrity of Bayobab’s wholesale billing landscape. The role owns the technical design, integration, and execution of high-volume billing platforms supporting international voice, SMS, data, signalling, RBM, RMS and value-added services, ensuring accurate rating, charging, invoicing, settlement, and financial reconciliation. Operating at the intersection of Network, Mediation, Finance, Revenue Assurance, EVA, and external partner ecosystems, the role acts as the technical authority for all billing-related solutions. This includes defining and governing billing architecture, leading complex system integrations, enforcing non-functional requirements (scalability, resilience, performance, security), and providing technical support.
