Primary responsibilities:

  • Maintain and ensure all equipment is functional/operational
  • Provide training, guidance, and supervision to laboratory staff on analytical techniques, quality assurance procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods and procedures as and when required.
  • Conduct inter-departmental quality audits.
  • Conduct an assessment of the lab staff's competency
  • Support and maintain the Laboratory Quality System.
  • Provide quality assurance to clients by constantly reviewing their quality needs and implementing new strategies as necessary.

    • Specific responsibilities:

  • Prepare and calibrate standards and reagents.
  • Calibrate and maintain the working condition of equipment and apparatus.
  • Meet the laboratory calibration schedule.
