JOB PURPOSE

The Technical Engineer is responsible for the technical coordination, design management, drawing control, and interface management for the erection of approximately 500 Segmental Box Girders (SBG) using Segment Lifters, Launching Gantries and Trestles including the installation of bearings. The role ensures that temporary works designs, permanent works design checks, shop drawings, kinematics, bearing layouts, Post-tensioning drawings and elongation reports and approvals are properly developed – with necessary PE endorsements, reviewed, tracked, and distributed among all stakeholders including the Client’s Designer, Temporary Works Designers, Launching Gantry(LG) Designers, Scaffold/Trestle Designers, Contractors Independent Checking Engineer (CICE), and Sub‑consultants and Acre Works Construction Managers and Superintendents.
