Unit Position Summary
The Heath-Heckman and Braasch Labs at Michigan State University are hiring for a full-time, joint animal technician to 1. care for the Heath-Heckman Lab bobtail squid facility (50% of the time) and to 2. care for the Braasch Lab Ancient Fish Facility (50% of the time). Duties include aquarium and equipment maintenance, animal care and welfare checks, water chemistry measurement and maintenance, record keeping, facility organization and cleaning, and organization of facility users.
