The Sec & Derivatives Team Coordinator is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Resolve escalations prior to going to a manager, by analyzing information in complicated and unique situations
+ Train new hires and junior level staff, and identify performance gaps through feedback and coaching
+ Provide technical guidance to resolve problems as the technical subject matter expert of the team
+ Provide manager with feedback for performance reviews, may write appraisals, may participate in appraisals
