Our Grid Development division of approximately 200 engineering, technical and economic specialists looks ahead to understand what NewZealand's electricity network needs will be over the next 20 to 30years. The team considers growing electricity demand, new generation, how the existing grid can meet that need, and what changes are required to remain reliable and fit for the future. It is thoughtful, long‑term work that helps shape investment and infrastructure decisions for Aotearoa.
