About The Job The School of Kinesiology occasionally needs teaching specialists to teach Physical Education courses that cannot be taught by existing staff and graduate assistants. This search will establish a pool of instructors. Applicants will be selected from that pool on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Instructors are appointed on a semester basis, dependent on teaching needs of the School of Kinesiology. Appointment does not carry benefits. These are temporary, non-tenured, Academic Professional and Administrative (P&A) positions as Teaching Specialist or Lecturer, paid on a per course basis. Typically these appointments are made semester by semester or in the summer, and employment is contingent on the course meeting its enrollment target. This appointment is specifically for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. This position is based on campus.
