We're looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 2:1 support for a Year 10 pupil in a specialist SEMH secondary school setting.

The School

This is a small, well-structured school for around 60 pupils, aged 11-18, who require additional emotional and behavioural support to thrive in education. Each class has around 8 pupils, supported by a Teacher and a Teaching Assistant, with Behaviour Mentors available throughout the school to provide extra support and guidance.

The Role:

Provide tailored 2:1 support for a Year 10 pupil with SEMH needs. You will work alongside another LSA to support him

Encourage engagement, focus, and positive behaviour within lessons

Support academic progress and emotional regulation

Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to implement behaviour and support strategies
