Job Description
Tutoring jobs in Phnom Penh: Khmer.
Specialties: General.
Target audience age: Not Specified (1-100).
Hi bong, my name is Julian (Khmer name is ααΈα) and I am a half Cambodian, half British 22 year old university student in the UK.
I was born and raised in Phnom Penh, so my Khmer level is already conversational β I can speak, read, and write relatively well.
However one of my main issues is using natural sentence structures and slang in daily language when speaking with Khmer people.
When other Khmer people say it, I understand, but itβs difficult for me to use the sentence structures myself, if that makes sense.
I was taught Khmer in a very traditional method from the traditional ααααΆααααΈα‘ to ααααΆααααΈα‘α books, but I donβt think it helped me communicate like a local Khmer person, which is quite frustrating when I just want to engage in long dialogue with Khmer friends and family.
Responsibilities:
Adjust study plans according to the needs of the student.
