QUALIFICATIONS: Arkansas certification in Library Media Specialist



REPORTS TO: Building Principal and District Library Media Facilitator



JOB GOALS: To provide leadership in the planning, development and implementation of a building level library media program based on Arkansas Library Media Curriculum Frameworks, National Technology Standards and AASL Standards.





PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:




+ Perform duties with a professional and cooperative work ethic and promote positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community.

+ Continuously update, improve and expand professional competencies through professional reading, completion of graduate courses, membership/active participation in organizations, or workshops and/or other staff development activities.

+ Participate actively on building and/or district level curriculum and other planning committees.
