Summary Purpose for the Position:

Consults with the Early Childhood Education Coordinator in the development, planning and execution of the daily educational classroom activities in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards, licensing requirements, and corporate policies and procedures to meet the needs of the individual child.

Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill):

CDA (with appropriate endorsement for classroom assignment)

Formally enrolled in higher education courses working toward Early Childhood Education degree; or AA/BA/BS in unrelated field and at least 2 years experience working with children ages 6 weeks through 5 years.

Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bilingual preferred (English/language of majority of families in program).
