Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities

+ Collaborates with classroom teacher in performance of teaching functions providing support to students and coteaching.

+ Provides instructional and behavioral management support to students.

+ Works with children in small and large group settings, as well as individually, under the supervision of the Director of Education.

+ Participates in lesson planning process, preparing and/or delivering lessons to students both individually and in small groups.

+ Provides classroom coverage as a substitute teacher as needed, overseeing and leading lessons for various classrooms of 6 to 8 school-aged children with brain injuries or brain-based disabilities in absence of classroom teacher.
