Job Summary
The Teacher Apprentice Liaison is a part-time (10-month, August-May) grant funded position that focuses on building strong, supportive relationships with teacher apprentices to foster their professional growth and success in the classroom. Teacher apprentices are employed as teacher assistants in Mississippi school districts while enrolled in USMβs online elementary education coursework. The Teacher Apprentice Liaison serves as a key support professional for these preservice teacher candidates, acting as a consistent point of connection between the university and partnering school districts and helping to ensure aligned expectations, responsive support, and improved communication.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
