Job Posting: Teacher Aide Position

The Addison Central School District is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in classrooms or educational settings. Primary placement will be in the MS/HS with additional duties as determined by building leadership. Key responsibilities include:


+ Strong ability to supervise and monitor students in structured and unstructured setting (hallways, cafeteria, study halls, arrival/dismissal.

+ Effective communication skills with students, teachers, staff, and administrators.

+ Ability to de-escalate conflicts and promote positive student behavior

+ Observant and attentive to student safety and well-being.

+ Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions independently.

+ Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentially.

+ Comfortable working with a diverse student population.
