Key Responsibilities:

GST & Service Tax:

• Manage GST related refunds, including filing and securing refunds (IGST, zero-rated supplies, export-related claims, etc.).
• Handle legacy service tax litigation and represent the company before adjudicating authorities.
• Design and implement GST policies, SOPs, and internal controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Analyze complex tax data, rulings and case laws to determine applicability across business entities.

Customs:

• Provide subject matter expertise on customs matters including valuation, classification, origin, preferential trade agreements (FTAs), anti-dumping duties, and duty optimization regimes.
• Monitor regulatory developments in trade and customs; assess implications and implement necessary changes.
