Job Description

Manage the company’s compliances with the tax laws, rules and regulations and provide tax planning, consulting that may impact the company. Perform and review tax calculations, returns and audits, and stay updated on new tax developments. Perform financial analysis on a regular basis to ensure the financial report’s accuracy and freedom from error and fraud, and ensure compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares and computes corporate income tax returns
• Prepares tax estimates, reviews tax accruals, and is heavily involved in tax planning
• Ensures compliance with tax authorities’ draft responses and notices
• Prepares tax provision calculations
• Reviews financial books and balances
• Manages and coordinates the BIR audit, as well as the company’s monthly and year-end audit activities
