We are seeking a talented individual to join our NZ Fund Services team at Mercer. This role will be based in Wellington or Auckland. This is a hybrid role and Mercer offers flexible working.

Tax Advisor

We will count on you to

• Support the NZ Tax Manager with tax compliance responsibilities across Mercer Funds in New Zealand, including income tax and PIE tax compliance.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors, registry and custodians to ensure accurate tax information and compliance.
• Review annual income tax provisions, trust distributions, tax statements, and unit pricing tax accruals in line with policies.
• Ensure Funds operate within relevant tax policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.
• Contribute to tax-related initiatives such as new business proposals, fund restructures, and product projects.
