Job Description
**Amentum is seeking a Systems Engineer Lead - SysML to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC).**
**Position Summary:**
The candidate will support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) organization responsible for sustaining and modernizing launch range capabilities at Patrick SFB and Vandenberg SFB. This role applies Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to develop and maintain authoritative system models, manage requirements traceability, support subsystem integration, and enable enterprise-level decision-making across shared range subsystems. The engineer operates within a multi-site, multi-stakeholder environment supporting launch operations, modernization initiatives, and sustainment activities.
**Essential Functions:**
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
+ Develop, maintain, and mature SysML system models representing functional, logical, and physical architectures.
