Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Surgical Technologist for their Newark, DE location. Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009)

+ Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist

+ Must have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience

+ Scrub responsibilities across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

+ Ability to function independently within established protocols

+ Competence in unit tasks assigned by the RN

+ Sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and patient confidentiality

+ Proficient computer and keyboarding skills

+ BCLS Certification

+ Certification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C)

+ Minimum Years of Experience: 1
