Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Surgery at the University of North Carolina is seeking applications for a full-time surgical oncologist to join our Division of Surgical Oncology. This position is being recruited as an open-rank, open-track appointment at an FTE between 0.5 FTE and 1.0 FTE . The faculty member will be expected to perform both clinical and research duties, along with the academic responsibilities of an educational institution. While this is an open rank position, we seek applicants with significant experience in open and minimally-invasive surgery for cancers of the liver, biliary tree and pancreas.
The Division of Surgical Oncology is among the 9 clinical Divisions in the Department of Surgery. The Division currently includes 16 faculty members and 10 Advanced Practice Providers that provide a broad array of clinical services in order to provide the highest quality ...
