Position: Surgical Medical Assistant
Location: 50 Eastdale Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY, 12603
Department: Urology
Classification: Full-Time Non-Exempt Hourly
Reports to: Practice Manager/Director or Clinical Supervisor
Shift/Core Hours: Monday-Friday 4 days a week 7:00AM-5:30PM with travel to POK, Kingston, and NW
The Surgical Tech/Medical Assistant functions under the supervision and guidance of the Clinical Director, RN Team Lead and/or Physician and participates in the multi-disciplinary process of providing care and treatment to patients and provides clinical support and technical assistance to the professional medical and other staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Assists physicians with patient office visits, including putting patients in rooms, interviewing patients, recording vital signs including pulse rate, blood pressure, height and weight, and enters inform...
