Job Description
**Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Partner, is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery team Monday-Thursday in Ellicott City, MD.**
**Schedule:** Monday-Thursday, 4x10 hour shifts
**Pay:** $24.00 - $34.00 / hour
**_This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool._**
**As a Skylos Surgery Veterinary Technician, you will:**
+ Use your knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs.
+ Monitor anesthesia, trouble shoot anesthetic complications, and make appropriate interventions.
+ IV catheter placement, endotracheal intubation, and anesthetic equipment use and maintenance.
+ Perform physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort. Understand normal vital parameters and alerts doctor when ...
