Summary This position is located in the Property Management Division within the Lifecycle Management of the Logistics Service at the Hampton VA Medical Center and it's supported catchment areas. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure that non-expandable (NX) supplies and materials are distributed to areas serviced by Supply Chain Management. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Reviews existing stock and manufacturers' catalogs, manuals and listings to obtain substitute or interchangeable items to supply in lieu of items requisitioned. Communicates with customers and vendors to obtain information regarding availability and functionality of non-expandable equipment and supplies. Provides guidance to customers on identification of material through research of original equipment manufacturers part catalog for part numbers, descriptions, and size of parts needed.
