Summary The Supervisory Aviation Safety Inspector will manage a Flight Standards organization. Responsibilities The position reports to the applicable manager & will execute the Agency's aviation safety mission, communicate & build change coalitions. The manager is responsible for aviation safety activities in a complex & dynamic air carrier &/or general aviation environment that includes experience in one or more of the following specialties: Operations, Avionics, Maintenance, & Cabin Safety. Applies an advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed & ensures the promotion of the highest level of safety compliance with regulatory standards while utilizing transparency of data exchange that includes the identification of hazards & management of risk.
