Job Summary:

Participates in the empowerment of library patrons by implementing education strategies on using standard and specialized library information systems and resources and collaborating to develop information literacy strategies, initiatives, and trainings. Conducts authoritative literature searches using advanced information databases and grey literature, as requested by patrons or for projects. Contributes to the fulfillment and delivery of library information resources by coordinating with physicians, clinicals, and researchers on the delivery of resources for projects. Manages the fostering of resource acquisition and evaluation as part of overall resource management by maintaining thorough knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in library information systems and leading the evaluation of resources.
