Key Roles and Responsibilities

+ Above all, ensure a safe work environment while complying with environmental, quality, and safety rules and programs (ISO14001, IATF16949, MIOSHA). Communicate and enforce safe work procedures, actively identify safety concerns and support the pursuit of corrective actions.

+ Provides leadership characteristics that foster team progress, takes the initiative to take on challenging assignments and creates opportunity where none exists.

+ Provides engineering leadership and is considered the technical expert.

+ Displays strong project management skills. These duties would include the direction and supervision of engineering personnel and the control of activity prioritization. Attains project and management goals on time and within established budget.
