Substitute teachers can choose their areas of preference and set their schedule based on availability. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with per diem rates for long-term substitutes. Requirements:A valid Iowa Teaching License or Sub AuthorizationMandatory Reporter Child Abuse CertifiedMandatory Reporter Dependent Adult Abuse CertifiedSubstitutes are expected to follow the district employee handbook.Background check upon board approval.*this is not a contracted position*
