A paraprofessional substitute, often called a para sub, assists teachers and supports students in a school setting. Their duties may include helping with classroom management, providing one‑on‑one or small‑group instruction, supporting students with special needs, and aiding in daily classroom activities. They might also assist with supervising students during breaks, and help ensure that the classroom environment is conducive to learning. Their goal is to support both teachers and students to maintain a productive and positive learning experience.
