Job Description

This position is responsible for the coordination, administration and implementation of livestock production programs and projects in the county


Duties and Responsibilities


Duties and responsibilities at this level will entails:

  • Organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating of the function of livestock production in the county.

  • Developing county departmental policies, legal and institutional frameworks for the implementation of the mandate of livestock development

  • Coordination of production documentation and dissemination of livestock production

  • Interpreting and applying national and county laws and other related statutes in the line with the county goals and objectives

  • Acquisition of professional management equipment and materials for livestock development

  • Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time
