Amentum is looking for a Submarine Fire Control Technician in Norfolk, VA, with experience with: AN/BYG-1 (including IA suite), CCS MK1 legacy, AN/BSY-1 legacy, and CV-2953C(P) CSDC.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Perform onboard FTA to perform checkout, fault isolation, and repair of equipment/system deficiencies of submarine combat control systems
+ Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to ship’s force during maintenance efforts
+ Provide direct FTA support by responding to fleet requests for troubleshooting guidance or assistance, and part availability or identification. Requests are typically received via telephone and require research of technical documents, which are available at MARMC
+ Provide, review, and create TAVR messages upon completion of FTA visits and ensure JCN information for entry into FTS database with the status of problem, findings, and actions taken to the Waterfront Coordinator
