Full-Time Support Staff (10 month contract) Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Recruitment, the Student Recruitment and Advising Officer will support students through their recruitment process and into their first year of studies with the university.

Responsibilities

Support students through the recruitment process and into their first year of studies.

Travel throughout Ontario to spread awareness of Nipissing University.

Create meaningful, informative relationships and engage in correspondence and follow‑up with prospective students, current students, supporters, guidance counselors, teachers, professors, and other university representatives.

Provide support to future and new undergraduate students in making informed decisions regarding their application and course selection for their first year.

Attend Open House events and the Ontario Universities Fair, and work regular evening and weekend shifts as required.
