Position Summary: Assist in all portions of patient care, including operating stationary and portable x ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body. Education, License & Cert: Current enrollment in Radiologic Technology School with completion of basic medical terminology and radiologic positioning Experience: Minimum of one year radiology technologist school ‐ preferred. Essential Functions: 1. Prepares and positions patients for x ray examinations.2. Prepares opaque media used in various examinations, such as gastrointestinal work, IV contrast, enemas, etc.3. Operates a portable machine and take films at bedside, in O.R. and special rooms or areas.4. Knowledgeable in the correct use of the Radiology Information System, scheduling, tracking, completion, down‐time procedures.5. Works as part of a team to maintain high standards in radiology.
