Position Summary:

Operates radiology equipment under the supervision of a Radiologic Technologist to produce clinical diagnostic x-ray films. Works under the supervision of a technologist, in a wide variety of settings including, but not limited to: general x ray, fluoroscopy, surgery, emergency department, critical care units, and neo-natal. Performs a wide variety of technical radiologic procedures using standard, portable, and/or specialized x-ray equipment to apply an appropriately determined amount of ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illness and injuries.
