Join CDM Smith in either our Nashville or Knoxville offices and make a difference while working with a fantastic team supporting state and municipal highway design projects and project delivery throughout Tennessee and the Southeast region!
Under direct supervision, performs structural analyses and designs for reinforced concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry, and other metal structures of basic to moderate complexity to meet client project requirements. Assists in the development of models, drawings, and specifications. Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Coordinates designs with other engineering disciplines. Applies firm policies and practices on all designs. Assists in structural condition assessment and confined space entries. May attend conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of t...
