At MECASOLAR, we continue to grow our engineering team to deliver utility-scale photovoltaic projects worldwide. We’re looking for a Structural Design Engineer with a strong construction mindset to support the full project lifecycle — from conceptual design to commissioning.

About the role

You will be responsible for ensuring the technical feasibility and constructability of PV structures (trackers and fixed systems), combining structural design, geotechnical analysis, and on-site supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Structural calculation of tracker systems and fixed PV structures (cold-formed steel, bolted/welded joints, buckling, fatigue, vibrations)
• Application of loads and regulations (Eurocodes/EN, ASCE 7, NTC, local codes)
• Preparation of design documentation: calculation reports, drawings, BOMs, ITPs
• Risk monitoring, constructability analysis, and as-built closure
