Job Description
The Strategic Account Executive will own and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts across enterprise, government, and academic sector clients in finance, chemicals & materials, and pharmaceuticals. The role is accountable for driving revenue growth by converting sales opportunities into signed commercial agreements, managing the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract execution, selling quantum computing hardware, and high value research collaborations.
On a day-to-day basis, the Strategic Account Executive will lead account plan execution, including identifying and qualifying opportunities, planning and running customer engagements, and advancing active deals through the pipeline. This includes maintaining clear ownership of account priorities, managing senior and working level stakeholder interactions, and ensuring consistent progress toward defined commercial outcomes.
