Responsibilities

Conduct weekly and monthly stock checks, ensuring all items are accurately recorded.

Verify deliveries to the workshop and maintain proper documentation for inventory control.

Issue Job Sheets/Material Request Forms (MRF) daily for truck repairs and provide the correct spare parts.

Ensure all received stock is in good, usable condition.

Monitor tire records, including serial numbers, for stock in and out.

Inspect used or rejected tires and record serial numbers prior to disposal.

Review mechanics’ toolbox lists monthly.

Perform fire extinguisher inspections every two months, ensuring functionality and monitoring expiry dates.

Check safety equipment in trucks when drivers leave, ensuring items are in proper working condition.
