DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This position involves responsibility for overseeing the maintenance of a central supply room. Stock handling includes a variety of office, custodial and related supply items of considerable value. The work is performed under general supervision with the incumbent responsible for the application of proper stock-keeping methods and the maintenance of accurate and complete records. Supervision may be exercised over the work of subordinate employees engaged in delivery of supplies. Does related work as required.
