Description
Leads activities and monitors pre-kindergarten children in nursery setting. Operates in accordance with the mission, values and policies of the Association.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Meets and greets parents and children who are utilizing the Stay and Play service.
2. Provides a safe, caring and fun environment for participants.
3. Respond to emergency situations.
4. Provides age appropriate activities for children during the hours of operation.
5. Is actively involved and engaged with the children during the time in which they are in the Stay and Play area.
6. Maintains discipline in a loving and respectful fashion.
7. Maintains the cleanliness and safety of the Stay and Play area.
8. Helps children in removing and putting on outer garments.
9. Assists children in eating, resting and toileting, as deemed appropriate by the Youth and Family Coordinator.
