Job Description

Organization and Management understands and carries out nursing care in line with the Vision and Mission Statements, Goals, and Objectives that suit the scope of the Nursing Services. The role involves working shift duties or as assigned by the Unit Manager according to the unit’s operational hours.

Responsibilities

• Inform the Unit Manager when a change occurs in circumstances that affect standards of care.
• Receive and handover patient reports, ensuring a detailed understanding of the case.
• Ensure all doctors’ orders are carried out before shift change and upon taking over a case.
• Report any incidents or problems encountered.
• Visit every patient in the unit with team members upon taking over duties to assess condition, compare with the report, re‑plan nursing care, determine priorities, and plan patient care according to needs and staff availability.
